Hello, I'm Jon.
I'm a Front-End Developer/UI/UX Designer currently living in Tampere, Finland.
In summer 2023 I worked as a Software Designer Trainee at Solita where I got to enhance the Front-End side of one of one of their internal tools. Most of my tasks ended up revolving around accessibility testing and improvements as accessibility is one of the areas I'm most passionate in.
In December 2022 I graduated with a vocational degree in Software Development from Careeria. I'm currently a first year Business Information Technology student at HAMK. And in order to satisfy my neverending curiosity about new technologies and design trends, I'm also doing a lot of studying and experimenting outside of school. As a developer and co-worker I’m creative, endlessly curious and I give my all to any and every project I work in.
Accessibility Driven Design & Development
Accessibility isn't just a buzz word for me and I take it into account in every stages of the design and development process. The reason for this is the simple fact that accessible products benefit not just a selected few but all of us.
On my spare time I like to immerse myself in open world games such as RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima, listen to music, learn Japanese and play with the endless bundle of energy that is my cat, Nura.
